Interview with Vanessa Rousso

Interview with Vanessa Rousso

Vanessa Rousso isn't called "Lady Maverick" because she bears a resemblance to Mel Gibson or James Garner. She earned her nickname by being absolutely deadly with some playing cards in her hand. Not only has she accomplished money finishes at both the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour, but her tournament winnings are well over a million dollars and she recently won a Poker After Dark championship. It also turns out that Vanessa is also incredibly generous with her time. She recently took time during her dinner break at a tournament to talk to us and give us a little insight into her life.

Interview with Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh

Interview with Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh

Jennifer Leigh has not only made her mark on the poker world with an impressive online record as well as cashing in some of the biggest tournaments in the world, but she has also made a splash in magazines like FHM and Playboy. Most recently she has appeared as Hefner's feature model in the April 4th issue of the popular men's magazine. It would be a mistake to think that she is nothing more than the sum of the parts that the camera has so beautifully captured. We found out that this young lady has much more to offer when we got the opportunity to speak with her recently.

Interview with Nancy Cartwright

Interview with Nancy Cartwright

Imagine being caught in a life where you are perpetually 10 years old. These are the golden years where society at large pretty much accepts that you're not old enough to be responsible for the carnage that follows in your wake. It is also the age that is the paradise before hormones screw everything up. This is the life that Nancy Cartwright has pretty much lived for almost two-decades. Most of us know her as the voice of the precocious (and sometimes felonious, cartoon icon) Bart Simpson.

Interview with Tony Denison

Interview with Tony Denison

There are some shows that folks should have their televisions repossessed if they do not tune in. The Closer on TNT is one of these types of programs that should only be missed by people who found Battle of the Network Stars quality entertainment. Tony Denison currently stars on this show and has helped make it one of the top programs on cable television. Mr. Denison resume also includes Crime Story and the Fox hit Prison Break. Considering how busy he is, we are pleased and grateful that he took some time to talk to us about poker, acting, and life in general.

Interview with Erica Schoenberg

If you are a poker fan and you don't know who Erica Schoenberg is, chances are you live in a remote cave - or quite possibly in Arkansas. Just before playing a tournament at the Bellagio, Erica kindly took the time to talk to us and share some of her insights about life, poker, meathead, and how calling somebody a donkey can bite you somewhere painful later on down the line.

Interview with Kimberly Lansing

Interview with Kimberly Lansing

It isn't often that a talented and beautiful entertainment reporter crosses one's path. When this happened to the WPT, they did what came naturally: they hired Kimberly Lansing to do interviews. Kimberly is a very busy young lady, considering there are many entertainment and news outlets that she lends her considerable talent to, but she took a little time to talk to LaunchPoker.

Interview with Greg Raymer

Interview with Greg Raymer

Most of us know Greg "Fossilman" Raymer as the 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion, noted collector of fossils, and the owner of perhaps the coolest glasses in the sport of poker. What a lot of people don't know is that inside him is a golfer and a politician also waiting to come out. He took the time to talk to us about everything from poker and politics to his trademark glasses.

Any guy who is not aware of Layla Kayleigh either doesn't own a television, or needs to have his Y chromosome repossessed. Interview with Chad "czee2212" Albert

Chad Albert may seem like any other college student, but the Indiana University senior is known and feared in cyberspace as czee2212. He is also a living testimony to just how even the poker playing field is. Over the summer he beat out three world class poker aces - Clonie Gowen, Brad Booth, and Erik Seidel - during the online challenge.
